Lives in Transformation Counselling and Mediation
Professional Couples Counselling – Rebuilding Connection and Communication
Life can often throw some unexpected curve balls our way. When upsets happen, it can be hard to cope. It can be challenging to find purpose and meaning in the midst of pain and disappointment. People often end up feeling sad, angry, resentful, anxious and undone. They can often feel like there is no hope or that no one cares and, as a result, engage in negative thinking and harmful behaviours. Clients have strengths and values within them that can be explored to help them be the best version of themselves.
Pauline uses a collaborative, client-centered and non-judgemental approach to help navigate through the issues that are of concern to her clients. She specializes in couples therapy using The Gottman Method. She provides EMDR therapy for clients suffering from past and present trauma.
Together, she and her clients will explore and employ strategies and techniques that contribute to the overall health of couples and adult individuals, with the hope of bringing about lasting positive changes. Pauline will endeavour to be supportive by offering a warm and empathetic atmosphere in which clients feel safe and validated. She is deeply eager to work with individuals in reaching their full potential so that they can live their best lives. Together, they will aim to foster healthy growth and change that sustains them, even in the worst of times. They are worth it!
In addition to her counselling work, Pauline is also an Accredited Family Mediator with the Ontario Association for Family Mediation (OAFM) and is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She supports couples and families who are navigating separation, divorce, or complex relational transitions by offering a structured, respectful, and solution‑focused mediation process. Her mediation approach emphasizes clear communication, fairness, and emotional safety, helping clients work through difficult decisions while reducing conflict and protecting the well‑being of everyone involved. Whether clients are seeking guidance in rebuilding their relationship or support in moving through separation with dignity, Pauline brings the same compassion, steadiness, and collaborative spirit to her mediation practice as she does to her therapeutic work.
Additionally, Pauline offers faith-based counselling for clients who wish to integrate their spiritual beliefs and values into the healing process. She provides a compassionate, space where individuals and couples can explore their challenges through the lens of their faith, drawing strength from spiritual practices alongside clinical therapeutic strategies. By honoring the deep connection between emotional well-being and spiritual health, Pauline helps clients find divine purpose, hope, and lasting renewal even during life’s most difficult transitions.
